We fill the void for women who have sensitive skin or require wider widths with 3 different widths in both single and double-sided adhesive no other bust tape on the market currently offers.
We pride ourselves for not “paying” for endorsements by celebrities, influencers and Hollywood stylists, because we’re so fortunate they support us genuinely because they love our product and want to. Friends of YOOBTAPE are Hollywood Celebrity Stylists who use our tapes for Rita Ora, Gwen Stefani, Ilana Glazer, and many other red carpet events. We may not be owned by a famous celebrity, but we are definitely being used by many celebrities and their stylists!
Our hearts and minds continue to encourage, empower and support women all around the world to give them the confidence to be themselves and rule their own world with sustainability and organic products being the core of our soul. We are also strong supporters of the AAPI community who love the diversity of our products. We want to share and inspire how an immigrant Asian female who had absolutely nothing, is able to connect with women around the world.
At one point or another, it is inevitable that challenges will pop up in business. What’s your approach to overcoming challenges?
Be my true, authentic self. Share my personal experiences and be vulnerable.
Sales and marketing are two very important, but different, functions within a business. What is your number one sales tip?
Never “sell” – get to know the individual you’re speaking to first. Become their colleague, acquaintance, friend… once you do, all the magic happens.
What is your favourite business tool or system?
Yourself – you are your brand, product and best tool. Never be anyone else because people want to get to know YOU, your brand and your product.
It is important to celebrate your achievements, particularly during the difficult times. How do you celebrate your achievements?
Every small step is a big win. Take a deep breathe, smile gracefully and feel blessed for that small step. Be grateful for everything.
Being in business is like an education in itself, what are the three most important lessons you’ve learned in your business?
Lesson 1: Nothing is ever going to go according to plan (so it’s ok to not have a “plan”) / this is different from goals and dreams
Lesson 2: It’s ok that not everyone is going to love or support your idea, even those closest to you / do this because it makes YOU happy, because YOU’RE passionate about it, and everything else will fall into place.
Lesson 3: Enjoy riding the waves / you’re going to have exceptional days and days where you are so down, you question everything you have done and want to do. Keep surfing, the ups and downs of those waves are the only way you’ll learn and become more resilient.
