In this week’s interview, we have the pleasure of introducing you to Jasdeep Mago Jethani, Co-founder and CEO of Invisible Illness India.
Four years ago after losing a friend to suicide, Jay (her friend then, now business partner) decided to raise awareness on mental health issues and suicide prevention. After throwing a very successful event, they decided to take this up and raise some more awareness in the community. Two years later they pivoted into a corporate wellbeing space.

Let’s start with the timeless 60 seconds ‘elevator pitch’, what’s yours?
We help individuals, organisations and educational institutes develop mental skills to lead happy and successful lives. We are here to change and impact the lives of people in all sectors and we do this through communication, engagement, and interaction.
At one point or another, it is inevitable that challenges will pop up in business. What’s your approach to overcoming challenges?
Never give up spirit.
Sales and marketing are two very important, but different, functions within a business. What is your number one sales tip?
Don’t be disheartened by rejection.


What is your favourite business tool or system?
I have to say Canva because my social media team loves it and find it very useful.
It is important to celebrate your achievements, particularly during the difficult times. How do you celebrate your achievements?
By showing gratitude to my team and the ones who have supported me.
Being in business is like an education in itself, what are the three most important lessons you’ve learned in your business?
Lesson 1: Consistency is everything
Lesson 2: Base your goals on your values, that way you are motivated everyday.
Lesson 3: Surround yourself with the right kind of people who will motivate you.
